Next weekend is the iGEM 2021 Opening Weekend Festival (May 15-16), where the iGEM community will once again come together to celebrate the start of a new iGEM season! With over 340 teams (and counting …), we are looking forward to an amazing array of iGEM stories and live events where you will have an opportunity to meet and get to know your fellow iGEMers from all over the world.

We invite you to join with free and easy registration, check out the lineup, watch on-demand content, explore the long-awaited iGEM Merch (launching on May 15th), and learn how to host your own iGEM Festival party. Gather together with the iGEM community – including the iGEM and After iGEM Committees, Ambassadors and Staff, Alumni, Friends and Guests of iGEM, and the 2021 iGEM teams themselves – for a fun and memorable event, where you can celebrate with your team as you embark on your iGEM journey to solve local problems all over the world with the power of synthetic biology.
